dude, I did that once, and never again. always use a blade.
It’s not tough to get it all off; the trick is getting the skin nice and taught. It takes practice.
An electric shaver depends on taughtness; otherwise, you’ll end up nicking yourself really bad. If you can’t get a blade to do the job, I don’t think a shaver is for you.
i think shaving is a bad idea- you always get that ugly stubble- just a suggestion, but have you tried waxing or sugaring? you never have stubble when you use these methods- if not, then get the razors that have the triple head blades, they seem to work a bit better than the ones with the micro screen heads.
A ladies razor is more delicate for that are.
Wax is the best way.

A Black and Decker strimmer should do the trick. Give your thatch a quick sweep with one of those chaps and it’ll leave a lovely smooth finish.
Go to a barber. Gee wiz.I trim mine but am too afraid to trim too close for fear of losing my jewels.
use a beard and mustache trimmer. they have attachments that you can adjust.
