NEVER EVER SHAVE! That is rule #1. Wax if necessary. It is likely you will have the same issue, if so talk to a professional beautician.

I have to shave my face and I have been called a girl many times… does that count?

Well it could be genetic. I have a friend who had facial hair above her upper lip and she went to the dermatologist or her doctor and got injections of something to make the hair go away. She said she had to go back about 4 times and it cost her around $40 a visit. But she is happy with it now.

IT COULD BE A HORMONE IMBALANCE SOMETIMES BIRTH CONTROL HELPS.
ALSO IF YOUR MOTHER HAD ASTHMA AS A CHILD OR TEEN, THEY MIGHT HAVE GIVEN HER A STEROID THAT CAUSED HER HAIR GROWTH. SO YOU MAY NOT EVEN END UP WITH THAT PROBLEM.
IF YOU DO I SUGGEST YOU WAX, IT LAST LONGER.

What ever you do don’t ever shave. Wax it unless you want facial hair thick and coarse like a man’s you could even bleach it if theres just a little.

sorry to tell you, but yes, women get hairier in their facial area as they get older. It sucks. I am 43 and I periodically shave my face with those tiny Nozxema (meant for the bikini area) razors to get the fuzz off. Despite the warnings listed here, my facial hair has NOT come in any coarser or darker and I do NOT have a man’s beard. But yes, sadly, women do get the hairy-face thing as they age. But you won’t have to worry for a few years, yet. 40′s.
