Armpit hair shaving/waxing tips(for ladies)?
Kind οf embarrassing qυеѕtіοn fοr mе, bυt I hаνе trουblе shaving mу armpits… I always claimed bесаυѕе I’m thin mу armpits dip іn more аnd ѕο іtѕ nοt a flat surface tο shave mаkіng іt harder, nοt sure іf thats thе case bυt іt always seems lіkе іt. Anyways, I know I саn wax, hοwеνеr I hаνе never done thаt before, аnd It kind οf scares mе tο bе hοnеѕt.
Whаt works best fοr уου ladies? I want smooth armpits… thе οnlу way I еνеr gеt thеm smooth іѕ whеn I first shave thеm whеn I first рυt οn a nеw shaver blade, thаn аftеr thаt іt doesnt seem tο work аѕ gοοd (bυt mу legs аrе super smooth wіth mу shaver ѕο іtѕ nοt lіkе thе shaver іѕ bаd… ).
Try the cream that like Nair or the new creams that they have out that you leave on for few minutes and then rinse off. The hair should come off.
ok i think i have some good advice: im thin too, so i know what you mean, like how it dips a little bit more. the best thing to do is to relax your arm because that way it won’t stick out any more than it has to.
then i would apply some shaving cream ( i like the skintimate moisturizing one) just a little and lather all over. then take your razor and gently shave over it til all the hair is gone.
hopefully this will work, but otherwise, try waxing !
I have the same problem sometimes, I usualy use conditioner to shave and then I use sea scrub(any kind will work but I use victoria secret). After I do that I repeat the conditioner and then it comes out all smooth. Hope this helps.
I use a five blade razor, and I make sure I use a really good shaving cream. The Art of Shaving brand is the best shaving cream I have found…a little pricey, however, every time I shave, my legs, armpits, whatever, it is silky smooth for at least 3 days. I have found you get what you pay for, so if you want a long lasting result, you have to invest a bit more.
I would recommend getting a smaller razor, like one made for bikini shaving (there’s a brand that starts with an N – forgive me, I can’t remember exactly what it’s called – that sells little bikini razors the size of your thumb in three-packs for just a few dollars a pack). Because of its smaller size, it will conform more easily to the dips and curves of your armpit.
DO NOT – and this is coming from someone who has plucked, waxed, used hair removal cream, and even used an epilator on her bikini region – I repeat, DO NOT do any of those things on your armpits. The skin there is more sensitive than anywhere else on your body except your eyelids, and if you try to wax there you very well may accidentally remove patches of surface skin in the process. And for the love of god avoid hair removal creams for use anywhere on your body. I had to go to the emergency room once because of a mishap with that stuff. I’m not kidding (I’m also not stupid; it could have happened to anyone).
Just shave. Always use a shaving cream, and use a small razor. Good luck!
try using a hair removal cream such as nair or veet. It is always difficult to shave under your arms so hair removal cream is a lot easier and will leave the skin softer. If you don’t want to use removal creams, try shaving with baby oil or gel.
Mine isn’t a flat surface either. Shave in front of the mirror, don’t look at your underarms, and it will be flatter. Also raise your arms up high, and bend your elbow, bringing your hands down on the armpit to stretch the skin.
Underarm hair is thicker so what works on legs might not work on underarms as well though. Just lather up a lot, and use some shaving oil or olive oil before shaving cream. Try aveeno, they are the best!
I waxed before on my own. It was messy, but it worked. I’m on accutane now, so I can’t do that and I don’t want to wait for the hair to grow back. For me waxing is only painful for a second. It really isn’t that bad.Get it done at a salon first maybe, and touch ups with an epilator. Your underarms will be super smooth.
Depilatories, I can’t be bothered. I’m not to keen of slather chemicals that burn hair in my underarms— yuck.
