I don’t hаνе much money? Alѕο, ѕhουld I gеt a wet/dry razor? Whаt kind οf pre-shaving stuff ѕhουld I bυу fοr аn electric razor? Anу hеlр wουld bе greatly appreciated. Thanks!

for me electric isnt good… razor blades are the only way to go… electric never cuts hair… it takes forever… and it can make your skin break out alot too

A big part about shaving that most new- and some older- shavers overlook is the pre-shave steps. Before you shave it is very important to loosen the hair with warm water. If you take a shower before shaving it wouldn’t be a bad idea to use some of that conditioner on your beard. Stay away from that canned garbage too. Pick yourself up a Badger hair brush along with some quality shaving cream(in a tube(like toothpaste)) or shaving soap, not that pressurized can crap most people buy.

After you have properly loosened the hairs and then applied a quality shaving cream then you can begin shaving. I recommend staying away from electric razors. Either use blades or buy a Duel Edged Razor (your grandfather may have used one)

When you are satisfied with your shave apply an alcohol-free aftershave.

Always shave WITH the grain unless your face can handle otherwise.

An electric razor would do most of that (there is still burn, but not as bad), but i never feel I get a close enough shave

You really don’t need an electric razor there are cheaper options.
I used to use the gilette fusion razor it was pretty good and i got hardly any scrapes or cuts. You have to get the gilette fusion shaving cream and buy the gilette fusion razor less then $20 but then after 3weeks or 2 you will need to buy the refills and those are like alot.
Now I use a $10 schick quottro titanium razor with is powered by a batery which came with it and its about the same and the razor refills are cheaper and i use oldspice shaving cream .
Really shaving is not suppost to take forever unless you dont shave every week.
    When shaving
    1. You take a shower and after you shave or you can pat your face with a hot wet towel then fill your sink with hot water and dab the razor in it. B4 this be sure to put shaving cream on your face.
    2. press the button on either the gilette fusion power or the shick to turn on the power shave in all directions of your beard the way you prefer.
After that wash your face and use an after shave if u want
