I want tο know whаt thе best Norelco rotary shaver іѕ, I hаνе sensitive skin аnd аm prone tο ingrown hairs bυt thе barber (whο I trust) recommends a rotary shaver іѕ best fοr mу case. I саn οnlу find οld outdated reviews οf whats best. Nοt sure іf those arcitec ones аrе worth thе money…thanks.

The Norelco is the original rotary.
You can get the cheapest one for around $ 38.00, it’s a plug in model. I’ve used a Norelco 3 head rotary for over 40 years and replace it with a new one every five years or so. You can pay a lot more with the battery operated models, like up to $ 150.00 but I don’t feel they will be any different on your skin.
Note: All electrics will cause your skin to be irritated for the first few days until it gets ‘used’ to it. After the first few days it is all free of any problems.
I’ve been using Norelco Rotary Electric Razors for at least 30 years. I usually get a new one every 5 years. I am perfectly satisfied with the plain, corded shaver that costs about $ 25.00 US on sale. I don’t like any kind of battery operated or extra bells & whistles & re-chargeable dood dads that can go wrong with one. When using a Rotary Razor, you must remember to move the shaver around in short circles as you shave your face. The blades go around in circles – and you move the razor around in circles & get a good, close shave. I have found if I apply Rubbing Alcohol to my face & let it dry PRIOR to shaving, it makes the whiskers stand up straighter for a closer shave. Use Aveeno or Neutrogena for Men skin conditioning cream after shaving. Or – Vitamin E Oil helps keep face conditioned, also.
