He has one he uses now but it’s a really crappy one. I think he’s had it for a very long time haha. He just needs a new one. I want to buy my husband an electric shaver for Christmas, but I don’t know what would be a good one or what it should have or what it should be able to do other then shave his beard. I have seen ones with titanium and duel blades, but none of this makes sense to me. I really need to know what would be a good thing for it to have. I don’t want to pick up just any shaver. Thanks for any help.

Best answer:

Answer by There are those that call me Tim
Consumers Search has a pretty good review of reviews of shavers (they compile/compare reviews), which should help:

http://www.consumersearch.com/electric-shavers

The Brauns do look good, but I’ve never owned one. (I have a couple Norelcos, which are ok, but they used to be much better. At least they lasted longer).

My daughter has just started shaving her legs and whenever she uses my sons razor she always cuts herself even when she uses shaving cream. What is a good shaver to use for a first timer at shaving? She hates shaving cream, anything you don’t have to use shaving cream with is preffered.
