I have very sensitive skin and had never really had a problem shaving until just recently, specially on my neck area, I use this shaving oil and then shaving cream which used to make shaving really, really smooth, before that I also tried a power or electric shaver that worked good for a while but then broke, for some reason even with the oil and shaving cream i get all this dark or hair follicles and when i try to shave even deeper to remove them i sometimes get cuts or irritate my skin very bad, im starting to notice my neck looks kind of bad now from the cuts, hair dots etc.

I dont use the mach 3s or mach 4s or any of those top brand razors but I my razors are new and after 2 uses i throw them away, could it be that I need to switch to better and more expensive razors ? or do you recommend that I go back to an electric razor ? is there a proper way for shaving or is it all standard ? meaning do you shave downwards, upwards, side to side etc does thta make a difference you think ?

should i be using any other type of cream or should i even avoid that ? what do you think would be the best choice ? and please only serious and experienced responses, i dont need a little kid with hardly any facial hair making some retarted comment…. thankx

When my beard grows in it begins to itch forcing me to shave. Nothing special. But when i shave if i dare use a blade I WILL get razor bumps. I’ve tried foam but that does nothing. My skin just feels so sensitive after a shave and like clock work those bumps eventually appear, and inevitably scar my face with dark spots for several months.

The only way around this I’ve found is to use my electric head-hair shaver. It trims my beard low enough but not so close to scrape the hell out of my skin like a blade. No razor bumps ever with this approacg. The problem is right after a shave it looks like i have 5 o’clock shadow. Actually this isnt a problem. The problem is speed. I want to shave in quicker time.

1. Can you recommend an actual electric shaver that has an adjustable head to cut higher from the skin to avoid razor bumps/burns? This way i get speed and the pluses of my head-shaver.

2. Is there some lotion to more quickly remove these dark razor bumps/burns?

Thanks.

So I am thinking of buying my husband an electric shaver for Christmas (we’ve made it a tradition to wait until boxing day to buy gifts for each other) and I have no clue which one is (or which ones are) good.
