I haven’t flown in a long time, and I know they have a lot of restrictions on what you can bring in your carry-on. These are a few things I’m not sure about bringing, if you travel a lot, please let me know if they let you take this stuff with you (please list how you know for sure, too, just want to be certain!):

hair straightener (electric, not liquid)
stick deodorant (standard size)
safety razor (for the shower)
make up (mascara and lip gloss, under 3 oz)
tweezers

Last time I flew, the lady took away my mascara and lip gloss, but I thought these were allowed on if they were under 3 oz? They’re very tiny, only about 1oz. My family said she was not suppose to confiscate that, so I just want to make sure everything on this list has been okay for people who flew recently and a lot.

Thank you!
i’m confused as to where some of you are getting your information, but I have been able to find on several “official” sites that hair straighteners and safety razors are allowed, as well as tweezers and the other items I have listed. Thanks anyway.

Just wondering if anyone uses one of these and how well it works. I was wondering why you would use the wet shave feature with an electric, as I thought that when you use an electric shaver that your supposed to do it when your face is dry, before you take a shower. I’ve used an electric before, but only this way (dry-before a shower), and was just wondering how well they work when you use them wet or in the shower. Thanks.
Does it shave closer though when used wet? Does it feel/shave better when wet?

Quote by Edgar Allan Poe

My first serious attempt on a self-portrait.

I would like to recount on the slash mark on my right cheek. When I was 3, I used to wonder "Why is that only my father can shave and not me? Why shouldn’t I try using it myself?" Once when everyone was out, I dragged a stool all the way from our kitchen to the toilet, climbed on it and dragged his sharp razor across my cheek. Blood dripped all over my cheek, while I was seriously staring at the mirror to see if I had done it right.

The first step towards living like a king is investing in a good bed, a comfortable room, comfortable bed sheets, among other many accessories. This is a very big investment and one which requires careful thinking. Yes, all of these comforts can be attained thus enhancing your dream of living like the king that you are.
To begin with, some careful thinking is needed. You may employ simple strategies and end up sleeping in better conditions than an average king. To begin, it does not cost you anything to think about the type of bed that suits your bedroom. The size of that bedroom does not matter. The bed that you buy is the one that matters.
Talking of beds, you are not yet done with planning work. You have to ask yourself the question: do I want a flat bed or an adjustable one? The answer in this case has been provided. You should go for the adjustable one. This bed allows you to sleep any way you want. When you have bought the adjustable bed, make sure that you have adjusted it until you are satisfied with the comfort that it offers you.
There is nothing as comforting as the assurance from the adjustable bed’s manufacturer that this type of bed alleviated problems such as back pains, shoulder pain, neck pain, and all breathing conditions that come about as a result of a poor sleeping posture. Without a firm mattress, you may not be living a comfortable life in the bedroom. On average human beings spend a third of their lives sleeping. Comfort in bed is therefore all about living your life to the fullest. Never take chances when it comes to that.
A common mistake that you may have made when you bought that adjustable bed could be buying a mattress that is bigger or smaller or bigger than your bed. There is no need to worry about anything with regard to this. All that is needed is some time, a tape measure and some sense of accurateness when measuring the dimensions of the bed. Having done this, write these measurements down. Let them guide you when buying that foam mattress of your dreams.
If you are still not satisfied with the descriptions given so far regarding a bed that will make you live like a king, try out some more features. Look around stores keenly like a serious shopper and you are going to note that adjustable beds come into categories: those that are electric and those that are not electric. Obviously you need a bed that is electric. Kings prefer them, too.

Extra features may now start becoming more and more identifiable. Another extra feature that you won’t hesitate to give a try is the massage option and choice of pillows. A pillow that elevates your head is worth buying if only to prevent shoulder and neck pains. When sleeping in this posture, you also maintain proper breathing patterns and snoring becomes a pleasurable experience.
